Read about August Pullman’s journey starting a traditional school in fifth grade after being home schooled. He looks different than the other kids but maybe he can show the kids that it’s what inside that counts.
My 8 year old daughter read this book upon recommendation from her big sister. I was able to read about 40% of the book with her but the rest she read herself. We did watch the movie after which I expected to be a tearjerker and it was.
My 8 year old daughter : “I liked that it was a good life lesson, like don’t judge someone based on how they look. I also think it’s a good idea to read the book first so you know the characters better.”
5/5. More reviews to come from the Wonder series!
