Andrea Oliver’s life is turned upside down after a traumatic event in which she realizes her mother may not be who she says she is.

Andy and her mom are out to lunch when a shooter opens fire. When Andy’s mom Laura kills him easily and without emotion, it’s clear this isn’t her first time. She’s been in hiding for 30 years and now that the shooting was shown on the news, both her and Andy are in trouble.

This book was good but not great. I found out afterwards that there’s a Netflix series of the same name if you’re interested! There is also a sequel which I accidentally read first but I’ll link it down below. 3/5
