The book starts right around March 13, 2020, shortly before the world shut down due to Covid. Diana works at Sotheby’s and her boyfriend Finn is a surgical resident. They have lots of plans – promotion, marriage, house, kids – all before 35. But plans change when Finn is stuck at the hospital and Diana goes on their dream vacation to Galapagos and gets stuck there.

It was graphic and terrifying reading about Finn’s first hand recollections from the hospital. I really loved this book and it definitely makes you think. 5/5
