In near future Britain, The Sanctity of Marriage Act says you will basically be punished if you’re single. Either by choosing to remain single, getting divorced, or even if you are widowed. The book follows several different people and couples and their different journeys with this law.

This story was interesting since it talked about the dangers of AI and social media. The “audites,” which are recording devices in Smart Marriage homes are eerily similar to devices we have now in our homes. 3/5
