Millie is living in South Bronx when she starts working for Douglas and Wendy Garrick in Manhattan. If you’ve read the first book you know that Millie and Enzo become vigilantes for justice for abused women. When Millie starts work at the Garricks old penthouse, Wendy is always tucked away in her room claiming illness. But Millie has seen enough to know not mind her own business.

I actually liked this book better than the first. Everyone raves about Freida McFadden and I do understand it because her books go down very easy and quick.
