The House We Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell 1/5

Lorelei is a carefree, fun mom who doesn’t like to throw anything away. There’s charm to the fact that she sees beauty in everything – hanging every piece of her four kids artwork on her walls so there’s no wall space left and keeping Easter egg wrappers for their colors. As the years go on, Lorelei’s eccentricity morphs into full on hoarding and my god I could feel hives just reading about her clutter.

I didn’t like this book. It didn’t capture my attention and therefore took me longer than usual to read. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen but nothing really did. 1/5
