Julia Day is a veteran cop who has always been “by the book” until her teenage daughter, Genevieve, makes a tragic mistake. Lewis is a dad resentful of the fact that the cops haven’t found his daughter and it’s been over a year. Emma is a single mom who doesn’t fully trust her son. Their lives become entwined and they’re forced to help each other. They’re all different but the same in that they’re all parents trying to protect their kids.
The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they kept being repeating phrases like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz. “I miss her, I miss her, I miss her,” etc. 5/5
