Simone is a pastry chef at a failing food magazine in NYC called The Discerning Chef. Rachel “Ray” comes to manage the kitchen amid a revamp of the magazine to include video content. At first Type A Simone hates all the changes and new people. But eventually they grow to be a true dream team. This book celebrates inclusivity and gender identity which was cool to read. 4/5
