Every Friday, 3 friends who work on the boardwalk meet for a drink by the beach. Mikki is a divorcee with a great relationship with her ex-husband and his family. Ashley finds out that her boyfriend doesn’t want to get married. And Bree has a barrier around her at all times. They try to help each other strengthen their personal lives.

This book started off really great but harps on the same things over and over… and over. It was an easy enough read but I started to get annoyed with Bree, who is constantly self-sabotaging. The other characters are very likable – Harding, Mikki, and Dave at the top of the list for me. 3/5
