Married couple Eve and Nate Bennett are both teachers at the same high school in Massachusetts – her math, him English. Addie Severson is a 16 year old student who has been ostracized for a (very innocent) relationship with disgraced teacher Art Tuttle.
Nate stupidly takes Addie under his wing, even knowing he could get in trouble. Addie feels special under his guidance after losing her Dad and all her friends. As you can imagine, their relationship gets complicated especially because Addie is a student of both Nate and Eve.
I haven’t read a book this good in a while. Love a good twist at the end but this one actually had two twists. I really loved it. 5/5
