So easy! Lay sprinkles on a plate and dip the ice cream sandwiches in the sprinkles around the edges. Eat them quick before they melt!

Patriotic cake pops: *recipe from good ole Betty Crocker*

-Line cookie sheets with wax paper

-Bake cake as directed on box and let cool 1 hour

-crumble cake, add frosting, make quarter sized balls of dough, put on cookie sheets, freeze 15 min

-microwave candy melts, add shortening

-dip tip of stick in melted candy, then halfway into cake ball, place on cookie sheet

-once all cake balls have sticks, gently swirl 1 cake ball in melted candy to coat well, let candy drip back into bowl, dip ball into candy sprinkles to decorate, place in plastic foam to allow candy to harden

-repeat with remaining cake balls and melted candy.

-Divide butter & marshmallows among 3 bowls (1 tablespoon of butter and about 2 cups of marshmallows per bowl)

-Microwave 1 bowl until butter has melted & the marshmallows have puffed, about 60 seconds. Stir in blue gel food coloring until mixture is smooth

-Working quickly, add 1 3/4 cups of the Rice Krispies to the bowl and stir with a spatula. Move to baking dish and press into a later. Set aside.

-Microwave another bowl of butter & marshmallows. Stir together until smooth (this will be the “white” layer). Stir in another 1 3/4 cups of rice cereal until evenly coated. Place on top of the blue cereal layer, pressing until compact.

-Repeat with the remaining bowl of butter & marshmallows, microwaving until melted and smooth. Stir in red gel food coloring until the mixture is smooth. Add the remaining 1 3/4 cups rice cereal to the bowl and stir until coated. Place on top of the white cereal treat layer, pressing into a compact layer. While still warm, top with sprinkles, pressing gently.
