Essie is battling severe Postpartum Depression and, in a haze, she leaves her 8 week old baby at the park. Now her mom and husband try to handle her with little kid gloves and keep a close eye on her.
When a new, chic woman named Isabelle moves into her neighborhood, Essie is besotted and they become close. But Isabelle has a secret or two of her own.
There were a few weird things that I could’ve done without in the book (don’t google genetic sexual attraction, just don’t). 3/5
