The second in the Myron Bolitar series and so good!!

Good ‘ol Myron and Win back at it again. The book starts off at the US Open because Myron’s client Duane Richwood is playing. While there, washed up tennis star Valerie Simpson is shot and killed. Valerie had fallen from grace about 6 years ago when she was meant to announce her engagement to a senator’s son but he was killed that night. Now Myron has to find the link (if there is one), who killed Valerie and why.

I just love how Myron feels the need to solve every murder he’s even remotely connected to. The descriptions in this book were amazing, particularly when Myron is describing the quintessential 90’s villain – no shirt under the blazer, waxy chest, hair slicked back into a low long ponytail. 5/5
