Stella and Adam Knox are a married couple on vacation in Paris. When there’s an explosion and Adam goes missing, Stella is desperate to find him.

As she starts searching and digging, she discovers her perfectly “vanilla” husband is the mastermind of a criminal enterprise. He’s been selling stolen ancient artifacts to the 1%. Stella is in the dark, thinking he owns an antique restoration company. But she’s got a past of her own. It comes into play when she needs some help from an old friend.

This book really kept me guessing and I loved reading about Europe. 5/5
