So this is officially a Harlan Coben fan page now. This is the fourth book in the Myron Bolitar series. But you can definitely read this book as a stand alone! You know what you’re going to get with these books – mystery, humor, and heart.

Win is still in the fray – “night visiting,” or killing bad people we assume. Esperanza graduates grad school, becomes a lawyer and wants a partnership with MB SportsReps.

Linda and Jack Coldren are both famous golfers. Jack lost the US Open years ago and he’s determined to win it this time around. When their teenage son Chad, has been kidnapped, they ask Myron for help.

To make things slightly more interesting, Linda Coldren is Win’s cousin. Win is told his mothers health is deteriorating. The parts between Win and his WASPy mom Cissy (obviously) could’ve been heartwarming but it’s Win.

One of my favorite lines is when Myron says some guy is “several French fries short of a Happy Meal.” These books are definitely comfort books to me now. Easy reading and always fun!
