Nico convinces his scientist girlfriend Lyla to join a reality TV show. She’s told it will be like Love Island meets Survivor. Nico is a struggling actor trying to gain exposure and he thinks this will be his big break. The name of the show is *One Perfect Couple.* It is filmed on a remote island on the Indian Ocean.

The producers insist on taking everyone’s phones to make the show authentic. The problem is that a huge storm blows through, making an actual mess of everything. It felt like Gilligan’s Island. Basically, people start dying and hoarding food and water. It gets ugly.

I was hoping for something juicy at the end, not some weird revenge plot on the producers part. There are way too many people to remember who’s who. It reminded me a little of Island Time by Georgia Clark. But I liked that one SO much better.
