Kim and Jeff Sanders allow their daughter Hannah to have a sleepover. It’s to celebrate her Sweet Sixteenth birthday. They lay out all the rules – no boys, no booze, no drugs. But… teenagers are going to do teenage things I suppose.
One of the girls at the sleepover ends up falling into a glass table. Accidents happen right? Well, this is a little more than some bumps and bruises. She ends up losing her eye. Yowza.
As if this tragedy isn’t bad enough, the girls mom sues the Sanders family for $3 million. The Sanders want to fight it since #1 they really don’t have that kind of money. And #2 they don’t feel like they are at fault. The girl ends up being bullied relentlessly and I hate kids *insert eye roll.*
Needless to say, I won’t be doing sleepovers anytime soon. It felt like the girls learned zero lessons from this whole debacle. And bullying is so unnecessary. Why make someone’s life miserable? Just to make yourself feel better jeesh. I cannot recommend this atrocity.
