True crime podcaster Ben Owens does a deep dive into Savvy’s murder. This throws Lucy back into the spotlight, against her will. Her grandmother convinces Lucy to come back to Texas for her 80th birthday party. Her grandmother is one of the funniest characters I’ve read in a while. What she didn’t tell Lucy was that she was in cahoots with Ben. She was planning all along to convince Lucy to be interviewed by him.

The chapters sometimes alternate with the podcast interview. This book was fast paced and I didn’t want to put it down. I love love loved it.
