Abby and Spencer are blissfully married in NYC. At least that’s what Abby thinks. Spencer was married before and no one really knows what happened to her. It’s odd that Abby doesn’t question her husband about his first wife more. If my husbands first wife disappeared, I’d have some questions.

Abby gets a note telling her that she doesn’t know her husband. Ominous.

We find out that Spencer is having an affair with his assistant Jane. Cliche much? He thinks his wife is “too loving.” I already hate this guy. Spencer obviously doesn’t want to be with Abby but for whatever reason, he doesn’t want to divorce her. When Abby suspects something is up, she finds Spencer has been having secret conversations with several women.

Abby’s best friend Katherine and husband Spencer have never met which is weird. Katherine helps Abby by doing some digging into Spencer’s past life. We eventually read from Spencer’s first wife’s POV.

I thought it was very very good. To be honest, this would’ve been a 5/5 if any of the characters were relatable or even likable but nope. Plus I just hated Spencer. It’s overkill that they watch a movie together every single night. A little too cutesy.
