Blake gets fired from his high power Marketing job, seemingly because of a misunderstanding. His boss says Blake was giving away their campaigns. After being unemployed for a few months, he and fiancé Krista decide to take in a tenant. Purely because they’re desperate to pay the rent. After a few crazies, they decide on Whitney Cross.

She is “normal” at first but soon Blake and her are at odds, making life miserable. The second part is from Krista’s point of view. That’s when it all gets crazy.

For a minute it reminded me of the movie Duplex, which I love. I really loved the book, there was a lot going on.
