The book starts off with teenage “golden boy” Caleb being hit and killed by a car.

A year later, Caleb’s mom Paige is struggling (understandably). She is convinced one of her neighbors killed her son and left him to die. Paige is close with neighbor Cora Holman. New neighbor Georgia Kinney moves in but seems to keep to herself. Her husband even tells them she has agoraphobia and doesn’t like to leave the house. Well, of course, not everything is as it seems.

Similar to The Housemaid vibes and very very good.
