Andrea’s husband Terry is a gambling addict who loses all their money and their home. They’re forced to rent from her fathers friend in a different town. They happen to move in across from Gabby, who’s a bit older. She has teenage son Flynn. Andrea has a young son, Jack, and is heavily pregnant with another baby. Gabby befriends Andrea and since Andrea is so lonely, she finds comfort in Gabby.

Even though Andrea and Terry are still together, he’s still a piece of shit and is nowhere to be found while Andrea goes into labor. She’s forced to trust Gabby to watch Jack. Well that is a mistake…

I don’t recommend this book. Gabby is sad, pathetic and needs social media to validate her existence. We all like positive feedback but c’mon. And my god Gabby is bored AF. The book was predictable and boring. And why is Andrea giving Terry so many chances when he just can’t be trusted??
