Lana Myers meets FBI profiler Logan Bennett and they start a relationship. They’re both workaholics so their relationship works for now. He’s always rushing off to find a killer. And she’s… always rushing off to kill people. BUT she only hurts people who hurt her. So basically she’s a vigilante seeking justice and I’m here for it. She went through something extremely traumatic as a child and now she’s getting revenge against the people who hurt her.

Lana’s relationship with Logan is the first real thing in her life and she doesn’t want to lose him. But c’mon this is not sustainable. She’s a killer and he’s a killer catcher. It just can’t work. When the serial killer Logan is after starts taunting him, he fears Lana is in trouble.

Don’t let the book cover scare you away. They all look like some spicy S&M novel but that’s very deceiving. A little bit of spice but not as much as the cover would lead you to believe. The book must’ve been pretty small because I read it very quickly. I loved that all chapters of this first book start with a Einstein quote. It was very good minus the gore. I could do without the gruesome murder scenes. I hated that Logan calls Lana “pretty girl” like she’s 12. Otherwise, I can’t wait to read the next in the series!
