Nora, Daisy, and Soraya all went to high school together but have since grown apart. When a local woman ends up in the hospital after her husband leaves her, they reconnect while visiting her.

All 3 women are having marriage trouble. They go to lunch and afterwards they discover a little shop called Lady’s Mantle Apothecary. I already know the book will be cute just hearing the word “apothecary.” Aggie Green just opened the store and needs a bookkeeper, a baker, and someone to run the front counter. Serendipitous for all 3 women who need jobs.

They learn how to manifest, read tarot cards, and bake with their own special magic. Great things happen to them while awful things happen to the husbands. They obviously take their revenge spells a bit too far. What is it with this town that so many asshole men leave their wives all at the same time? All in all, a very cute book about finding your own magic.
